As we continue to scale our operations and expand our vendor network across Vietnam, we are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead our engineering team and drive our technology vision.

Job Summary:
As a Principal Software Engineer at Vinakors, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our software architecture. You will play a crucial role in setting technical direction, mentoring engineering talent, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise will ensure that our platform remains robust, scalable, and aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance and technical direction for the development of scalable and maintainable software systems.
  • System Design: Lead the design and implementation of complex software solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide software engineers in best practices, coding standards, and professional development, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural principles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and processes, advocating for new tools, technologies, and methodologies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, architecture, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Your talent and experience speak volume. We don't ask for a degree!
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable web applications and services.
  • Proven experience in software architecture and design, with a strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like Spring, Django, or Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
